COLLEGE OF THE OZARKS JAZZ BAND

Join us in Branson Landing’s Town Square area on Friday, March 30th for a special performance by the College of the Ozarks Jazz Band. Enjoy two performances, beginning at 4:30 pm – featuring up to 23 musicians from the music program at College of the Ozarks.
Studying music at the College of the Ozarks involves the collaboration of students and committed faculty. Active performing groups have a vital place in campus life with numerous opportunities for solo performances and small groups as well.

The performances will take place beginning at 4:30pm on Friday, March 30th down by the Branson Landing Fountains.

Bass Pro Shop’s Bassmaster Central Open has been in Branson again competing on Table Rock Lake to see who can catch the best and biggest fish. Come see the Weigh-in at Branson Landing in Town Square by the Fountains at 3:15pm to see who will be this year’s Bass Master!

THE GRAIN VALLEY HIGH SCHOOL EAGLE JAZZ ENSEMBLE
Branson On Stage Live presents a special performance by The Grain Valley High School “Eagle Jazz Ensemble” from Grain Valley, Missouri, on Sunday, April 29th to begin immediately following the noon fountain show. The performing focus of the band is audience centered, resulting in a variety of styles from traditional big band charts, to recent popular music being represented. The music is selected first and foremost to be educational for the students while being enjoyed by a wide variety of people.

The Eagle Jazz Ensemble performs annually at the “Night of Jazz Concert” in Grain Valley and is making their first appearance at “The Branson Landing”.

BLUE SPRINGS HIGH SCHOOL “WILDCAT JAZZ ENSEMBLE”
“Branson On Stage Live” presents The Blue Springs High School “Wildcat Jazz Ensemble” from Blue Springs, Missouri. This award winning Jazz band appears annually at The Branson Landing on Mother’s Day. The band performs a variety of musical styles from traditional big band charts, to more recent popular music.

The Wildcat Jazz Ensemble accepts 20-25 performances locally and around the tri-state area of Missouri, Kansas and Iowa each year and we’re excited to have this very talented group of musicians performing at Branson Landing again this year down by the Fountains in Town Square.

ARMED FORCES PARADE AT BRANSON LANDING!
Branson Landing is honored to work alongside the Branson Veterans Task Force as they present the Armed Forces Parade on Saturday, May 19th – Armed Forces Day. 2012 KHOZ 102.9 – TEXACO COUNTRY SHOWDOWN COMPETITION
LIVE AT BRANSON LANDING!

The Texaco Country Showdown is coming back to Branson Landing! KHOZ 102.9 will host America’s largest country music talent search and radio promotion this year, right in front of the Branson Landing Fountains! For 30 years, this Showdown competition has given aspiring country music artists a chance to launch their professional careers and again this year, the finalists will have their chance to perform for you at Branson Landing.

The Master of Ceremonies for the Texaco Country Showdown will be Clay Cooper from the Clay Cooper Theatre. The show will also feature Emcee, Clay Cooper and his band, The Country Music Express Band – AND… the band will also be providing the backup for the contestants. The Celebrity Guest Judges for this year will be announced at a later date – so, be sure to check back.

Clay Cooper has been performing in Branson for years and In 2005, Clay decided to put together a show of his own – which can now be found at The NEW Clay Cooper Theatre. CLAYTON PRODUCTIONS PERFORMS AT BRANSON LANDING!

Clayton Productions presents a special and unique performance by “Celebrate, “Hero” and “Jammin” show choirs. Clayton Productions was founded July of 1981 in Salt Lake City, Utah as a private entertainment school for youth under the direction of D. Kim Clayton. Each performer and student has been carefully selected through an audition process because of his/her talents, commitment to excellence and desire to learn and share their musical gifts with people of the world.

Join Springfield’s TV Station KOLR 10 at Branson Landing on Saturday, June 16th from 4:00 p.m. until 7:00 p.m. for The LATE SHOW WITH DAVID LETTERMAN Stupid Human Tricks & Stupid Pet Tricks Casting Call!

No purchase is necessary. This casting call is open to all ages. However, participants under the age of 18 must be accompanied by a parent or legal guardian. The parent or legal guardian must chaperone and sign a release waiver. Participants will have the chance to be selected to perform their trick on the Late Show with David Letterman.

You must arrive at the casting call between the designated times of 4:00 p.m. to 7:00 p.m. The casting call is based on a first come, first serve basis, so pre-registration will not guarantee an audition. The last audition will take place promptly at 7:00 p.m. Auditions will take place outside in front of the Branson Landing Fountains. If you are participating in the Stupid Pet Tricks Casting Call, please take note of the following: bring water for your pet, pets must be under the control of the owner at all times prior to the casting call (leash, crate, etc.), and owner must provide proof of all current vaccinations. Be sure to check back for additional details on casting call times and rules - all to be posted at a later date.

Participants selected by The LATE SHOW WITH DAVID LETTERMAN personnel will receive a free trip to New York, a payment for their appearance on the show, and a chance to perform their trick on the stage of the Ed Sullivan Theater in front of millions of LATE SHOW WITH DAVID LETTERMAN viewers.

FUDGE FOR TROOPS!

Enjoy a sweet experience during the month of July and support our troops at the same time during Rocky Mountain Chocolate Factory’s National Campaign, “Fudge for Troops” – where the goal is to give back to our service men and women overseas.

Last year there were approximately 40 Rocky Mountain stores that participated in this great promotion and over 4,000 pounds of fudge ended up being donated to the troops. Join us for this community event where we welcome runners, walkers and families of all levels and abilities. All proceeds from the race will benefit K-Life Taney County where our mission is to... "Provide unconditional friendship for youth."

2012 TEXACO COUNTRY SHOWDOWN – SOUTH MISSOURI STATE FINALS!

Branson Landing is proud to host the 2012 Texaco Country Showdown – South Missouri State Finals – America’s largest country music talent search and radio promotion, right in front of the Branson Landing Fountains! For 30 years, this Showdown competition has given aspiring country music artists a chance to launch their professional careers and this year, the finalists from South Missouri will have their chance to perform for you at Branson Landing – for their chance to win $1,000 and proceed to the Regional Competition.

The finalists performing will be those selected and representing 8-10 radio stations from South Missouri. The Master of Ceremonies for the Colgate Country Showdown State Finals will be on-air personalities from KHOZ 102.9 Radio Station out of Harrison, Arkansas.

The Showdown is open to vocal and/or instrumental performers, individuals, or groups of up to seven members who have not performed on a record listed in the national record charts of Billboard, Radio and Records, or The Gavin Report within eighteen months preceding local competition. Mark your calendars and cheer on the contestants as they compete in the Missouri State Finals of the Texaco Country Showdown on Saturday, September 15th at 5:00 pm in front of the Branson Landing fountains.

The Annual Branson High School Homecoming Rally is scheduled Thursday, September 20th at Branson Landing. Athletes, cheerleaders, coaches, the marching band and queen candidates will descend on the Branson Landing to rally for the Pirates.

The fun will begin at 8:00 PM as the BHS students leave the north parking lot – near Belk Department Store - and parade down the Branson Landing Promenade. The parade will end in Branson Landing’s Town Square - where the Pirate’s Pep Rally will begin.

THE NASHVEGAS ALL STARS – LIVE IN CONCERT AT BRANSON LANDING!

THE KSWISS IRONMAN 70.3 BRANSON RACE

Join us as we welcome to Branson, all of the athletes competing in the Kswiss Ironman 70.3 Branson Race and their families. For these athletes, their day will start off with a 1.2-mile swim in Table Rock Lake before they take on a challenging and fast 56-mile bike course that offers several incredible mountaintop views. The three-loop run is 13.1-miles long and ends with a spectacular finish at Branson Landing in front of the multi-million dollar fountains. THE WHITE BRUTHAZ – LIVE IN CONCERT!

The White Bruthaz have been Rockin`and Rollin` Rhythm and Blues for over 10 years in SW Missouri and NW Arkansas in concert venues and top clubs with thumpin` originals and select cover material. Striking out with a strong need to be heard, this band of six are taking no prisoners and they're forging a path to the very top. The Herrold Sisters

The Herrold Sisters are making a special performance this weekend at Branson Landing in front of Orange Leaf on Friday, October 19th, from 7 PM to 8:30 PM, and then again on Saturday from 10:30 AM to 12 PM.  Don’t miss this talented duo of two sisters with a passion for country and folk music, as well as songs they have written themselves!

BIO
The Herrold Sisters were founded in June 2012 by Hannah and Abby Herrold (then just 13 and 10 years old), from Tulsa, OK. Their goal has always been to pursue their dreams of making it big as a country artist. They plays primarily country & folk music and original music, along with some pop top 40 hits.

Hannah (14) plays guitar, sings, and writes. In fact, she has written over 50 songs. Many are now sung by the duo. Hannah originally started playing the guitar by watching YouTube instructional videos. Her favorite artists include The Band Perry, Taylor Swift, Carrie Underwood and Maroon 5.

Abby (11) has had a love for music her whole life, and started off by performing in a number of broadway theater camps. She was soon performing in church musicals and singing solos at church. Her desire to learn to play the guitar at a young age eventually drove all 3 sisters to want to learn to play and perform. Similarly, she listens to The Band Perry and Taylor Swift, but has also learned to appreciate some old classics by The Dixie Chicks.

SAFE STREET TRICK OR TREAT AT THE BRANSON LANDING!

Calling all ghosts, goblins, pirates and princesses. It's your turn to Trick or Treat up and down Branson Landing's Trick or Treat Street!

This will be the 6th Annual Safe Street Trick or Treat for Branson Landing merchants to participate in and it’s taking place on Wednesday, October 31st! This safe Halloween alternative is exclusively for children in costume up to age 12. Don’t miss the Witch in Town Square with gobs of goodies and be sure to visit the businesses with the Halloween Signs in their windows – as those signs will mark the participating “Trick or Treat” businesses, located up and down the Branson Landing Promenade.

The Branson Wedding Affiliation is a network of unique business owners and operators that service the wedding market. This group was formed to honor our Military for their current and past services by providing one lucky military couple with a free complete wedding package.

This year, 24 local businesses are honoring our troops and celebrating Branson’s Centennial by giving one lucky military couple the chance to get married in Branson, Missouri on Veteran’s Day, 2012. The winning couple will receive a FREE Wedding package from some of the top wedding vendors in the Branson area – valued at over $15,000. One lucky military couple will receive a wedding package the rehearsal dinner, entertainment, hair, make-up, photographer, limo ride, reception, music, cake, floral arrangements, wedding dress, tuxedo’s, minister and much more, all donated by local businesses.

THE 64th ANNUAL ADORATION CELEBRATION

The Branson community gathers on this special day to set aside our individual aspirations and celebrate the true meaning of the Christmas season. It is our chance to stop and reflect on the beauty of the Christmas story that still inspires people today. On this special night, no one is in the limelight and no organization is promoted, only an overwhelming outpouring of community and celebration as we come together to honor the story of Christmas.
The Adoration Parade starts in Downtown Historic Branson and ends by passing the Branson Landing.
