Missouri Sales Tax Holiday
Each year, the state of Missouri offers its residents a tax-free period to
assist families and individuals on certain back-to-school purchases. For
2008, the "Back to School Tax Free Days" will begin on Friday, August 1st
and end at the close of business on Sunday, August 3rd.
Qualifying tax exempt items are generally limited to back-to-school
purchases such as clothing, school supplies and electronics. See
participating stores for details and restrictions.
